Bohemian Gothic Styled Shoot
Hey friends! I am SO excited to share these images from our styled shoot in October. Our team featured some amazing wedding vendors in the Burlington/Milwaukee area. Our team executed my vision perfectly, I couldn't have pulled this off without them! My vision was intimate, bohemian x gothic, eclectic with vintage touches and bold florals. I wanted to create something bold, yet totally attainable to the Midwest bride.
We are so excited to announce our work was just featured on Destination Wisconsin Wedding (@Destination Wisconsin Wedding) and you can see more on the blog here!
Venue: The Barn at Wagon Wheel Farm
Florist: The Pink Peony
Calligraphy: MJ Creative Co.
MUA: Courtney Lynn Makeup
Models: Forrest Buck & Kiersten Jablonicky
It's Saturday morning, our styled shoot is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon and I get a very apologetic call from a vendor saying they just can't find a dress to go along with our vision that will fit our petite model. (Me: It's fine, everything's finee). I talked to one of my friends in the industry and she told me the ladies at All About the Gown by Judy are amazing and that I should talk to Stefany. I talked to Stefany and she said they didn't have a dress in their collection that would match our vision or fit our model. She LITERALLY sent me a few pictures of some dresses, ORDERED one to fit our model, and tracked down the UPS man on Tuesday to get the gown so she could DELIVER it to us at The Barn at Wagon Wheel Farm. It felt like one of those Youtube MUA unboxing videos when they arrived because they whipped this gorgeous gown out of a box and started steaming as we're all yass girling (It's a verb now). Seriously, THIS WOULDN'T have happened without Judy and Stefany at All About the Gown in Lake Geneva.
This was my first styled shoot that I coordinated myself and I am so proud of how all of these amazing vendors came together to make my vision happen, like whatt! I am so honored to be in this industry and can't wait to keep on creating. Any wedding vendors reading this - hit a gal up! I'd love to create with you!
